Jingle & Jazz Tree Lighting Spectacular

This cheerful gathering truly ignites the spirit of the season throughout the city of Scottsdale and serves as the signature kickoff event of Scottsdazzle. This year’s event is hosted by community and city leader, Kira Peters, and features a main stage jazz band performance, as well as kids activities, dance performances and stunning decorations. Sip on a hot cocoa, nibble on seasonal snacks and engage in general merriment sure to put you in the mood for a very happy holiday indeed. The night culminates with the lighting of a 36-foot Scottsdazzle tree.

Kira Peters, Scottsdazzle Emcee

Kira has 35 years of diverse municipal leadership experience, and most recently serves as the Senior Director for the Library & Human Services and the Interim Senior Director for Scottsdale’s Water Resource Department. Kira is a founder and the Chair of The Women’s Collective, a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and elevating women leaders.

Kira's passion is building community. Kira lives in Scottsdale, is raising a family in Scottsdale and she is honored to work for the City of Scottsdale! One of Kira’s favorite events is Scottsdazzle - yes, she is one of those people who are crazy for the holiday season!
