Another “first” this year during the Scottsdazzle event, the Java Jingle Crawl features tasting stops and individual shopping experiences at several of the popular locally owned coffee shops in Historic Old Town.
Participants ages 16 and up can pre-register online here (through December 21 at noon) to enjoy a tasting at each shop and entertainment such as a vintage car shows, coffee demos, live music, discounts on purchases and more. Coffee lovers can also register on the morning of the event — the registration table will be at the SW corner of Marshall Way and Indian School (enter parking lot off of Marshall Way). Registration and check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. and closes at 10:00 a.m.
Registered guests will receive a commemorative coffee mug (limited to the first 300) and tasting “passport” to redeem at each location. While guests are welcome to walk, bike or drive to each stop in any order of their liking, the City of Scottsdale is providing crawl participants the option to use a designated complementary golf cart shuttle that will run continuously, stopping at each participating coffee shop.
Upon completion of their coffee-tasting experience, guests can turn in their passports to a golf cart shuttle driver or to the participating coffee shops to be entered into the raffle to win coffee-fueled prizes donated by each participating coffee shop. The winners will be notified via the contact information they provide by January 3, 2019 and prizes can be redeemed at the City of Scottsdale tourism office.
