Scottsdazzle begins on Saturday, November 24 with the official Holiday Tree Lighting and Sing-Along event from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Scottsdale Waterfront’s Soleri Bridge. This magical start to the season lights up the Scottsdale night with more than 1 million customizable colors on the specially designed tree; and guests can warm their vocal chords with hot chocolate and holiday goodies before 99.9 KESZ host Marty Manning kick-offs the spirited sing-along featuring locally renowned orchestra MusicaNova comprised of over 50 musicians/instruments.

Francine Reed performing “Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer” | Born in Chicago and raised in Phoenix, Francine is an American blues singer, solo artist, and regular singing partner of Lyle Lovett since the 1980s and member of Lovett’s Large Band. Reed has also recorded duets with Willie Nelson and Delbert McClinton and others, and continually blesses audiences with her amazing vocals and vibrant personality; she is truly a musical experience that should not be missed.
Raun Alosi performing “Jingle Bells” | Singer, songwriter, recording artist, producer and proud member of The Scottsdale Charros, Raun has been rockin’ the Valley and the southwest for over 35 years — and loving every minute of it! His passion for music coupled with his high energy onstage performance has made him a valley favorite.
Cory McCloskey performing ” We Wish You a Merry Christmas” | Cory McCloskey is the friendly weatherguy on FOX 10 Arizona Morning, but for many years before entering the weather business, made his living in theater, film, and television. He has performed on stages in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, and Baltimore, in roles as diverse as Josephine in Sugar, The Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, and young Michael Hudson on NBC’s Another World. Cory is also a busy stand-up comedian, shining his funny light on marriage and kids and work and pets, and what it’s like to be sentenced to an afternoon at Joann Fabrics…
Fire Chief Tom Shannon performing “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” | Tom joined the Scottsdale Fire Department as the City’s Emergency Manager in 2009 and was promoted to Executive Assistant Fire Chief in 2011. He was appointed Fire Chief in October of 2012 and oversees all areas of fire service delivery in Scottsdale today.
Rico performing “Feliz Navidad” | Rico is a Phoenix native and has been with iHeartMedia since 2013. Rico’s daily goal on-air is to deliver the most exciting entertainment for all of his listeners with spontaneously wild and comedic stunts and ideas. Hernandez is a firm believer in working hard and chasing his dreams, and hopes that his advice and own life experiences encourage the listeners of his show El Patron on 93.7FM, to reach their own personal and professional goals.
Police Officer Christian Bailey performing “Frosty the Snowman” | Christian is a 13 year Police Officer with the City of Scottsdale. He works as a part of the bike unit that is often seen in the downtown entertainment area and special events throughout the City. He has been a member of the bike team for 10 years. Christian plays an active role in the downtown growth by reaching out to businesses and stakeholders in the area.
Tim Hattrick performing “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” | Tim wakes up the Valley as part of the Tim Ben and Brooke Show every morning on 102.5 KNIX. Not only is Tim an Arizona native, he grew up right here in Scottsdale and graduated from Scottsdale High! Tim’s proud to be back on the radio- especially at KNIX which is celebrating its’ 50th year of playing Arizona Country.
Gary Sprague and his Horse Dusty performing “Deck the Halls” | Every Saturday from November through April, you can find “Arizona’s Singing Cowboy” in and around Old Town, with Gary leading Dusty through the Rusty Spur Saloon’s doors at the end of each Old Town visit! Their performances include jokes, anecdotes about the Wild West lifestyle and even poetry.
Mayor W.J. “Jim” Lane performing “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” with City Council Members | Mayor W. J. “Jim” Lane served for four years on the Scottsdale City Council beginning in June 2004, and began his first term as Mayor in January 2009. He was re-elected to the Mayor’s Office in 2012 and began his third term in January 2017.
