Built by hand by the Mexicans who first settled in Scottsdale in the late 1910s, and completed in 1933, today it stands as a historic monument, as one of only three remaining adobe structures in Downtown Scottsdale. Designed by Robert T. Evans it features beautiful Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and handcrafted stained-glass windows. For all who visit it provides a one-of-a-kind setting for historical reflection and spiritual solitude.
